Since osteopathic examinations and treatments are very complex and are not covered by the health insurances – although some offer partial reimbursement – the Private Practice for Osteopathic Medicine was established especially for this discipline. Situated only a few steps away from the AKH, the clinic is located in the Wiener Privatklinik. An osteopathic treatment by Dr. Malus lasts approximately half an hour. As a rule, two to three sessions every four weeks are necessary, in acute cases more frequently and within shorter intervals.
